Dr. Susan Buechele, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, IBCLC
Director of the LUC MNSON SBHCDr. Susan Buechele, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, IBCLC (she/her) serves as the director of the LUC MNSON SBHC. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Loyola University Chicago in the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing. She teaches both didactic and clinical courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs with a focus on community health, pediatrics, and leadership. She received an Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Illinois University (May 1994), a Master of Science in Nursing from Loyola University Chicago (January 2000) and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from St. Francis University (May 2015). She is a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner in primary care and an internationally board certified lactation consultant. For nearly 24 years she provided comprehensive health maintenance for pediatric patients and their families in a private primary care office. She started seeing patients at the LUC MNSON School-Based Health at the end of 2020. She is passionate about providing compassionate, holistic care, for children and adolescents that experience barriers to healthcare.
