Christie Billups, D.Min.

Dr. Christie Billups is an Associate Professor of Practice, Chair of the theology department, Co-Founder and Co-Director of Peace and Justice Studies, and Co-Founder and Director of the Br. Jeffrey Gros, FSC Institute for Dialogue, Justice and Social Action at Lewis University. Christie has served in a variety of ministerial settings, taught at the middle school, high school and college levels, advocates for and applies the principles and tools of restorative justice, and practices deep listening to people in interfaith, intercultural, and carceral encounters.
