Clinical Mental Health Services

Youth Crossroads provides school and community-based individual, family and/or group therapies to help youth address challenges and develop the skills and confidence to achieve success at home, school and in life. The agency focuses its therapeutic efforts on reducing the negative effects of violence, trauma and other life and mental health challenges, while building new skills and attitudes that help them move forward in safe and productive ways. These services are available to youth ages 10 to 24 and their caregivers at no cost or through Medicaid reimbursement.

Individual & Group Therapy: YC Individual and Group Therapy is available at one of our school-based sites during school hours or after school hours and in the evenings at our main office in Berwyn or satellite office in Cicero.

Family Counseling: YC provides Family Systems Trauma based family counseling at our Berwyn and Cicero offices. This specialized training and skill set allows us to provide the most direct and inclusive approach to addressing family distress and healing.

Referral & Evaluation: When a clinician or the intake worker determines that YC services are not appropriate for a youth or their family, YC staff will work with parents or the young person to transition them to services that will better meet their needs.
