Congratulations to Elida “Eli” Ortiz who was recently named Director of the Cicero Community Collaborative (CCC), a consortium of 60 community organizations working together to improve educational outcomes, parent engagement, health and safety, and immigration issues in Berwyn. Eli has recently served as the Parent & Community Liaison at YC, and previously served as the Coordinator of CCC from 2016-2020. Eli will focus on building the organizational capacity of CCC to provide Cicero residents with greater access to the resources they need to successfully build strong families and a socially cohesive community.
