As violence prevention workers, we often hear teens say things like, “You guys don’t get it. There will always be gangs, and there will always be guns.” In a way, they are right. There will likely always be gangs, and there will likely always be guns. Knowing this reality, our team continues to show up each day giving every young person our best effort and support.

Simply Us is a limited-edition portrait experience celebrating connection, belonging and the relationships that help children, youth and families stay true to themselves.
This meaningful campaign invites families, siblings, couples, parents and children, pets with their people and small groups to participate in a portrait experience with Mariely Martinez Photography.
Youth Leaders Take on Little Rock, Arkansas
Day one was a 10-hour drive from the YC office to our hotel in Little Rock! We brought 18 youth leaders from our After-School Program, Youth Leadership Program, and GSI Mentorship Program. On our way down, we stopped for a picnic lunch at the Arch in St. Louis, Missouri! ….
