Sadie is in 8th grade and has been living with her grandparents for a few months. After multiple suicide attempts and years of substance use, her mother is currently in a rehabilitation facility and her step-father is caring for her 3 younger brothers. Though Sadie is currently in a stabile setting, she worries about her siblings and her mother. She has become quite the caretaker and feels a lot of responsibility for her family members. Sadie has been working on healthy ways to deal with stress, understanding what she can control and what she cannot, and how to deal with the things that are outside of her control.
